Santa Monica Atelier · By Appointment

Bespoke

Our most exclusive bridal offering, created for the bride seeking a gown that is entirely her own.

The Invitation

Available through the Katherine Tash atelier in Santa Monica, this private made-to-measure experience pairs you directly with Katherine Tash and our in-house atelier team to create a one-of-a-kind gown tailored to your vision.

The Process

How a bespoke gown is made

01 — The Design Consultation

You meet Katherine

The process begins with a private design consultation to define the silhouette, fabrication, and details of your gown. You are paired directly with Katherine Tash and our in-house atelier team — not a stylist, and not a showroom.

02 — Your Design

Reimagined, or entirely original

A bespoke gown can begin either way: a design from our collection customised until it is unmistakably yours, or something created entirely from nothing. Both lead to the same place — a gown that exists only for you.

03 — The Toile Fittings

The dress in cotton, first

The design is then developed through a series of toile fittings, where cotton muslin prototypes are refined directly on the body to perfect fit, proportion, drape, and construction — before the final gown is cut.

04 — Fabrication

Signature silks and laces

Brides are guided through the selection of our signature silks, laces, and embellishments — held in the light and chosen together before anything is committed to.

05 — Made In-House

Handcrafted in Santa Monica

Each gown is handcrafted entirely in-house at our Santa Monica atelier — cut, sewn and finished by the same hands, a few miles from the ocean.

06 — The Final Fittings

Until every detail is right

Multiple fittings throughout the process ensure every detail is perfected before completion.

A true couture experience, Bespoke offers an intimate collaboration between bride and designer, resulting in a gown created exclusively for you.
